Gavin Rose hard at work for the new season
While Dulwich Hamlet fans are enjoying the summer break from football, Gavin has been busy organising his squad for the Premier Division
Speaking exclusively here, to the official Dulwich Hamlet website, Gavin Rose said that both himself and his backroom team were all looking forward to the new challenge of competing in the Ryman League
Premier Division next season and stated that we have an excellent pre season programme to help get the match sharpness for the players back at the correct levels.
Inevitably there will be some changes. He told us that we have unfortunately not renewed the contracts of Frankie Sawyer and Joshua Turner for the forthcoming season; and stated:
"I would like to thank both of them for their contribution to the club. Frankie has been a big part of the progression we have made over the past few seasons as a club, and was very unlucky to pick up a few injuries during the course of last season. Young Josh came in from Carshalton Athletic and again had a few spells out of action due to injury, but contributed over 30 games for the club last season. We would like to wish them the best of luck in their future careers."
With regard to players coming in to Champion Hill for the new season, Gavin informed us that we have agreed deals in principle for Gabriel Oduniake (Crawley Down Gatwick) Karl Beckford (Lewes) Paul Vines (Kingstonian),so far.
The rest of the last seasons squad have been retained for our forthcoming season, with pre-season possibly determining our final squad.
