According to today’s Mail, the North Londoners have become the latest club to join the Carr chase as the interest in Dulwich Hamlet’s leading sharpshooter heats up. Daniel, who has been touted by those in the know as one of the hottest prospects outside the Premiership / Championship, recently spent a trial period at Liverpool. And, though a disappointing trial match with the Reds’ Under 21s seemed to have closed that door, word is that the Anfield club are still keen to extend Carr's training stint as they weigh up whether to offer the teenager a contract.

However, Arsenal may have jumped the gun as they become the latest big name club to contact Dulwich Hamlet concerning young Carr who bagged yet another goal in Tuesday night’s 4-1 win away to Horsham.

It was also the Mail that revealed earlier this month how Chelsea tried to hijack Liverpool's move for Carr after hearing of his trial with the Merseysiders.

Quoted by the paper Dulwich boss Gavin Rose confirmed, “Arsenal and Chelsea want him in, which is feasible for us as he would still be able to play for us.

“The interest from Liverpool is firm, but that is quite similar with the London clubs.”
