Great opener for the Youth Team
Our Under Eighteens got off to a good start in the Kent Youth League earlier today.
Our youngsters, under the assured wing of the ASPIRE Academy, ran out comfortable winners against West Wickham in this opening North Division fixture at Rutland Walk.
The final score was four two to The Hamlet, who wobbled slightly allowing the visitors to make the scoreline slightly more respectable, after taking our foot off the pedal a little, having been four nil ahead.
Three Dulwich players got on the scoresheet, one apiece from Kiki Oshilaja, Klajdi Cani & Cameron Anderson; with the other being a West Wickham own goal.
Next week we travel to Greenwich Borough, at the Samuel Montagu YC grounds, on Broad Walk, SE3. Please note this match has the slightly earlier kick off time of 10.30AM.
Not so much luck to two of our new ASPIRE Academy coached younger age group sides.
In the afternoon at Rutland Walk, our Under Sixteens lost four nil to guests Thamesmead Town; whilst our Under Fifteens also lost, by only by a single goal, in a 1-0 reverse against Whyteleafe.
Next Sunday the 16s are away to Junior Reds, a 2 o'clock kick off at Meridian Sports Ground & while the 15s return to Rutland Walk with Cray Valley being our opponents.
