Hamlet fans go home happy!

Hamlet fans go home happy!

After the excitement of last nights thrilling penalty shoot-out victory over Godalming in the FA Cup, we asked some Hamlet fans for their thoughts.

Stopping a supporter or two after the final whistle & celebrations on the terrace www.pitchero.com/clubs/dulwichhamlet/ wanted to know what was going through the minds of some of our followers:

Tony Squires, from Camberwell
"A really entertaining game, fairly even from a spectator's point of view. It could have gone either way. I did feel the referee let far too much go,too much kicking from both sides. A fair result, & deserved from a Dulwich point of view, after I felt they were let to get away with so many fouls on us."

Jem Moore, from Brixton Hill
"I'm glad it wasn't played in December!Must have been great for the neutral supporter. In Erhun Oztumer I think we have the Lionel Messi of the Ryman League.I felt sorry for Carl Wilson-Denis when he turned & his shot hit the post."

Geoff Cummings, from Oxford
"A great home debut for Erhun. His own personal fan club in the stand are welcome back anytime, they were really noisy in the seats near me!"

Robert Grabarek, from Bromley
"I thought we did really well against a physical side. I'm well happy with the result & am going to try to arrange a minibus for the next round up at Arlesey."

Mishi Morath, from Sydenham
"After these two games I'm just glad Godalming have been switched over to the Southern League. Over the two games I think we just edged it, & it's great for the Club to have bagged some more prize money."

David Brown, from Honor Oak
"Thought we were great tonight. The crowd behind the goal were magnificent during the penalties, & without a doubt played their part in the shoot-out, distracting the Godalming players!"

So there you have it...what some of the fans on the terraces & in the stands thought!

Keep an eye for someone with a notebook at future matches, they might just stop for a quote or two, & you too could star here, on the official Dulwich Hamlet website!
