Heroes is often a much overused word. Tonight you can donate for genuine heroes...the ones who benefit from the 'Help For Heroes' charity.

With kind permission of our Football Club Chairman, Mr. Jack Payne, the rattling tins are out again tonight, for 'Help for Heroes', the national charity that helps servicemen & women injured, and this is being carried out by a chap called Carl Pearson, and he is collecting for them by visiting non-league football grounds, with Champion Hill tonight being number thirty two, on his rounds.

The "12th Man" stand will of course have their own regular bucket out too.
