Ibra Sekajja returns to Dulwich
Former striker signs on for third spell at the club
Ibra Sekajja has returned to Dulwich Hamlet for his third spell at the club. Having previously featured in the 2016/17 and 2021/22 campaigns, Sekajja is back to help bolster our attacking line.
A product of the Crystal Palace academy, Sekajja made his professional debut for the Eagles in April 2011 when he came on to score the equaliser against Hull City with his first touch of the game. Loan spells followed at Kettering Town, Bromley, MK Dons and Barnet, before Sekajja moved on to sign for Scottish Premiership club Inverness CT in October 2014.
The striker then moved to Livingston, before spending time in non-league at Braintree and Hemel Hempstead. He began his first spell at Champion Hill in October 2016 and scored 16 goals in 50 appearances for the club that season, including a memorable first-half hat-trick against Enfield Town in the Isthmian Premier Playoff Semi-Final.
After signing for Bognor Regis that summer, Sekajja went on to play for Havant & Waterlooville, Gosport Borough and Maidenhead United before re-signing for Dulwich in January 2021 during last season, which was largely played behind-closed-doors. Having trained with the club again recently, he has officially rejoined and will be eligible for tonight’s game against Dorking.
Everyone at Dulwich would like to welcome Ibra back to the club!
