If you love your Hamlet history
Then keep an eye out for Jack McInroy, who will be selling the latest issue of the 'Hamlet Historian' magazine on the terraces
It's on sale tomorrow, Saturday 16th April, at our last home match of the season against Lewes. It is a real bargain at only TWO POUNDS.
Full of tales from our past, ranging from pre-War stories, to anecdotes from the Seventies & Eighties in this issue, this is issue 29 of his publication which is a real labour of love from Jack McInroy, who has been editor for around twenty five of those back copies.
At the start of this season Jack commissioned the 'Pa Wilson Trophy', which now resides in the clubhouse of our good friends from Altona 93, which our two sides played for back in pre-season last summer at Champion Hill.
Further to that, from sales of previous copies, Jack also extremely generously donated ONE THOUSAND POUNDS from those proceeds to the 'Inter City 125' campaign, which is the fundraising group that aims to take our squad over to Hamburg to play Altona in a special one hundred and twenty fifth anniversary match, celebrating the foundation of both of our great clubs, in July 2018.
