It's an easy one to get to...
Unsure what to do on the Bank Holiday tomorrow? Had enough of the family already....well head to the Hamlet away game at Kingstonian
Out of all of our opponents in the Ryman League Premier Division the K's are a most ancient opponents. We have played them regularly, on & off, in various league & cup competitions, for nigh on a century!
If going by car you need Kingstonian FC, Kingsmeadow Stadium, Jack Goodchild Way, Kingston upon Thames, Surrey KT1 3PB...so just type the postcode into your satnav gadget.
Their home ground of Kingsmeadow is actually nearer to NORBITON station, rather than Kingston. And it's well served by trains from London. From Waterloo it only takes 25 minutes.
Departures from Waterloo are:
12 minutes past the hour, arriving at 37 past.
27 minutes past the hour, arriving at 53 minutes past
and 3 minutes to the hour, arriving at 22 minutes past the hour.
The LAST practical train from Waterloo would probably be the 14:22 service, which gets to Norbiton at 2.37pm.
Add 3 minutes to the departure times to board at Vauxhall; add eight minutes for Clapham Junction and 16 minutes after the Waterloo times will give you the departures from Wimbledon.
The directions from the station are easy... Come out of the station on the side you arrive, as if coming from London. Then cross into Norbiton Avenue, then up Norbiton Avenue, right into Gloucester Road, left into Cambridge Road, & the ground is then on the right, at Jack Goodchild Way. It's a ten minute walk, approximately, and all flat.
Suffice to say the trains home are just as plentiful, so I won't bother listing them...I guess what time you choose to go home depends on the result!
So no excuses...wear your colours & let's paint Kingstonian Pink & Blue!
