It's not too late to play for The Hamlet
That's the Supporters Team, who are in action tomorrow morning, against their Hampton & Richmond Borough counterparts
The Supporters' Team, affectionately nicknamed "The Rabblers", have another match tommorrow, their first of 2015.
Kick-off is at 10.30 and it’s an all-weather pitch. The full address of the venue is:
Feltham Community College, Browell's Lane, Feltham, TW13 7EF
If you would like to have a run-out, even at this late stage, you don't have to have played for the team before. The management duo of Shaun Dooley & Lester Ford welcome anyone who wants to play, it's not about fielding younger players to win, or playing the most talented, ability wise. It's about fun, mixing with other Hamlet fans, as well as the opposition, and acting as ambassadors for the Club we all support.
If you want to play tomorrow then just text Shaun on: 07931 276118
Or if you can't make tomorrow, but are interested in future fixtures, simply send your email details to Lester at:
With regard to the match in the morning, for those not arriving by train, you should aim to arrive for 10am and everyone will meet by the changing rooms.
Shaun and Lester will be on the 09.30 train from Clapham Junction directly to Feltham. I believe it will be from platform 5 , but please check the platform and train on arrival.
Full kit will be provided but bring your own shorts and socks if you wish.
Subs will be £7.00 for a full game & £3.50 for half or part.
For the 'Big Boys' game at Hampton in the afternoon the train takes less than 50 minutes from Feltham to Hampton with a change at Twickenham.
After this, the next match for the Supporters Team is at home to Charlton Athletic supporters, on Saturday 21st February at Belair Park.
More details will follow about that, and other games, if you leave your email contact with Lester.
And football won't end once the Ryman League season is over. As in the summer "The Rabblers" plan to enter tournaments run by Worthing supporters; Leyton Orient fans...and a great trip as usual up to Glasgow for the Queen's Park fans competition.
On top of this, as the saying goes, 'watch this space' for details of a summer trip over to Hamburg to play the fans of Altona 93 in Hamburg, at the end of May!
