Despite going down by the odd goal in three our fans won the 'Moral Victory'

That's the 'Moral Victory' in the Billericay Town Supporters Association quiznight.

A group of fans were enjoying the post-match hospitality in their Clubhouse when they were asked if they want to take part in the host fans' quiz night.

And a team made up of Shaun Dooley, Paul Griffin, Pete Lyons, Mick O'Shaughnessy & Steve Rickerby didn't just take part...they came equal first...and then claimed victory by winning the tie-break!

The spoils, of a crate of wine, were then generously donated to one of the host sides, who they pipped in the tie-break.

Well done to our lads, who were impressed with the hospitality and friendliness shown by their Essex counterparts.
