Latest 'Hamlet Historian' on sale today!
The excellent occasional periodical, produced by Jack McInroy, hits the terraces later.
A 'must read' for all dedicated Hamlet fans, it costs only two pounds, and as always promises to be a cracking read.
Produced as a labour of love by the editor Jack McInroy, affectionately known to many Hamlet fans as 'Jack the Plaque', as he was instrumental in securing the Edgar Kail Southwark Council blue plaque outside the entrance to the ground, there is some great new pieces in the latest edition.
The cover stars (seated above Arthur Aitken) are Stanley Smith and David Levy pictured during the 1930/31 season. Both men are featured in separate articles.
There is another continuation of the series on the 1977/78 season; with a new article recalling another promotion season, that of 1991/92. As if that wasn't enough to whet your appitite, there are also for some interesting photographs of the old Champion Hill ground.
