Lockett Stays With The Hamlet!
Popular attacker to stay at Champion Hill following successful spell last season
Mia Lockett has confirmed she will be remaining as a Hamlet player for the 2023-24 season.
The 21-year-old impressed during her stay at the club during the second half of last season after being dual-registered with us from AFC Wimbledon, scoring five times in 14 appearances, with a further four assists.
Mia made her debut in pink and blue in February in our 6-1 win over New London Lionesses at Champion Hill, and had registered her first goal with us by the end of that month in a 2-2 draw with Saltdean United.
A second goal came in the Combined Counties Midweek Cup against Ebbsfleet United, before a brilliant hat-trick in our next afternoon at Aylesford.
The former Billericay attacker also earned the Supporters' Player of the Month for February.
"Dulwich is a club that holds a special place in my heart." said Mia. "It's the place where I want to play my football with a smile on my face!"
"We’re delighted that Mia has committed to us!" added Ryan. "Mia has been a breath of fresh air since coming in with us in February adding a goal threat & she works incredibly hard off the ball."
"We feel that we have helped Mia grow & develop as a person & gain her love back for football. We’re looking forward to seeing Mia create havoc in Pink & Blue this season!"
Great to have you staying Mia!
