Dulwich made the long journey to Lowestoft and wrapped up the points in a 15 minute spell at the end of the first half.

On a difficult pitch, it took a little time for The Hamlet to settle and it was Lowestoft who had the first effort after Ibrahim Kargbo lost possession in midfield. This seemed to spark the team into life and Sanchez Ming had an effort saved following a cross by Nyren Clunis.

In the 10th minute, McAuley did well to head behind under pressure from Dipo Akinyemi, and Akinyemi then chose to shoot when Ming seemed better placed.

In the 22nd minute, Anthony Acheampong came close to giving Dulwich the lead, but his header from a Nathan Ferguson corner was brilliantly pushed on to the bar by home keeper Putnins. The keeper then made another good stop after Sanchez Ming got free down the right.

On the half hour, Dulwich took the lead when good close passing between Ibrahim Kargbo, Dipo Akinyemi and Nyren Clunis allowed Nathan Ferguson space to find the bottom left hand corner of the net from 12 yards.

Dulwich now had a grip on the game and added two further goals in the last 2 minutes of the half. First, a low cross from Nathan Ferguson was missed by Marc Weatherstone but turned into his own net by Ross Marshall, whilst in stoppage time Nyren Clunis got clear on the left and curled his effort around Putnins.

Half Time 0-3

The second half was a bit of a non event after The Hamlet made a bright start. Akinyemi had an effort saved, Kenny Beaney struck the bar with a free kick and Akinyemi just failed to turn home a Michael Chambers cross.

However, once the hour mark arrived, the game settled into a pattern of little activity of note, other than Anthony Aceampong seeming to manage toupset the officials. He was booked for an off the ball incident and then penalised for holding in the penalty area in stoppage time.

This resulted in Travis Cole converting the resulting penalty to give Lowestoft a consolation goal.
Final Score 1-3
