As the majority of the starting side at Chester sat it out on the bench, the starting side included a number of players looking to impress. However, with Connor Hunte and Jeffrey Monakana still missing, they were joined by Dipo Akinyemi and Dominic Vose who sat this one out.

The Hamlet came under early pressure but Ade Yussuf had the first good chance when he was set free by a ball over the top, but his effort was kept out by the knees of Mendes in the home goal.

However, The Hamlet fell behind in the 10th minute as Terrique Anderson was adjudged to have controlled the ball with his hand and Niall Cummins sent Charlie Grainger the wrong way from the penalty spot.

The rest of the first half was a disjointed affair with Dulwich not able to create anything of note, whilst the home side were looking the more dangerous without actually testing Grainger.

Half Time 1-0

The second half opened little better than the first and five minutes in some sloppy defending lead to Charlie Grainger making an incredible triple save that eventually resulted in a corner. However, his heroics were in vain as Cummins was left free to plant a header into the top left corner to double Marine's lead.

Dulwich did have a chance in the 56th minute but Yusuff was unable to find a way past Mendes, before the changes from the bench changed the course of the game.

In the 72nd minute Danny Mills scrambled the ball home after a corner caused confusion in the home defence and, immediately from the kick off, Dulwich regained possession and fed the ball to Ade Yusuff on the left. He cut inside on to his right foot and curled a sublime effort into the far top corner to level the scores.

Within a further three minutes, Dulwich had the lead. This time a flowing cross field move found Nyren Clunis on the right and his cross was met by a towering header from Danny Mills.

With Dulwich now in total control, Nyren Clunis hit the side netting having cut in from teh right before Ben Chapman scored the best goal of the day with moments remaining, Coming in from the right he hit a rasping left footed shot that flew past Mendes high to his right.

Final Score 2-4
