MATCH PREVIEW | Aveley vs Dulwich Hamlet | 7/2/26
The Hamlet head to Essex on Saturday to take on promotion hopefuls Aveley at Parkside.
Following our postponement on Tuesday night this is our first fixture since our victory over Brentwood Town 2 weeks ago!
It was a tightly contested match-up when the Hamlet and the Millers met on a Tuesday night at Champion Hill last year. A 3-3 saw the spoils shared.
Aveley have maybe been one of the surprise packages in the Isthmian League this season. With a new management team taking over in the summer many would have seen this as a transitional year. Instead they find themselves in 2nd place on 54 points, putting themselves firmly in the play-off picture.
They come into this with 3 wins on the bounce against Welling United, Cray Valley and Chichester City. Their last home defeat came against leaders Folkestone Invicta back in September.
It was victory at Brentwood Town last time out for Mark Dacey and his side and they'll be looking to pick-up where they left off last time out.
SQUAD NEWS:
Tom Chambers remains sidelined whilst Amadou Kassarate serves the 2nd match of his 3 match ban.
