MATCH PREVIEW | Bognor Regis Town vs Dulwich Hamlet | Isthmian League | 12/04/25
It's a massive weekend in the fight for Isthmian League survival as the Hamlet head down to the Sussex coast to take on Bognor Regis Town. A win could move the Hamlet up to 8 points clear of the drop zone and within touching distance of safety if results elsewhere go our way.
The earlier fixture between these 2 sides earlier this season would prove to be the end of Hakan Hayrettin's reign in the Champion Hill dugout. Up against 10 men the Hamlet headed in at half-time 3-1 up but a 2nd half collapse meant Bognor Regis Town returned home with a 4-3 victory.
Last weekend the Hamlet took an early lead against promotion hopefuls Cray Valley (PM) through a Michael Chambers header. However, heading up hill and into the wind during the 2nd half meant Cray pegged the Hamlet back and in doing so ran off as 3-1 winners.
Bognor kept their survival hopes alive as they defeated Potters Bar Town 1-0 last weekend thanks to a Dion Jarvis strike in the 71st minute. Before last weekend their last victory came against Bowers & Pitsea on the 22nd of February. It's all or nothing for Bognor tomorrow with a defeat confirming their relegation to the 4th tier of non league football.
SQUAD NEWS:
Max Hudson returns to action after a full week of training and Anthony Jeffrey continues to perform well in training. Ben Mason picked up a knock in training on Tuesday night but he could feature tomorrow. Dillon Barnes like Kreshnic Krasniqi is unlikely to feature for the Hamlet again this season following a knock he picked up against Dartford.
