MATCH PREVIEW | Brentwood Town vs Dulwich Hamlet | 24/1/26
The Hamlet head to Essex on Saturday with a trip to promotion chasing Brentwood Town.
Brentwood have lost their last 2 matches with defeats to Billericay Town and Cray Wanderers. They started the new year with a victory over strugglers Welling United.
The Hamlet on the other hand fell to defeat against Cheshunt last Saturday, the Ambers first away league victory since the August Bank Holiday.
A midweek victory over Cockfosters in the London Senior Cup did give a number of players valuable minutes in the legs.
Geoffrey Okonkwo and Anthony Cook both made their 1st appearances of the year while Gaspar Mico made his long awaited return from injury with a cameo in the final few minutes.
The Hamlet tastedt victory last time on a 3G pitch with a comfortable 3-1 victory over Potters Bar Town. It could have been more though with Mark Dacey's side hitting the woodwork on a number of occasions and a goal being ruled out incorrectly for offside.
A win on Saturday could see the men in pink & blue move as high as 8th in the table whilst Brentwood could end up 2nd if results go their way.
SQUAD NEWS:
Amadou Kassarate begins his 3 match ban after his red card against Cheshunt last weekend. Tom Chambers is out until February with a quad injury he sustained against Potters Bar Town. Apart from that a fully fit Hamlet side will head north of the Thames this Saturday.
