MATCH PREVIEW | Cray Valley (PM) vs Dulwich Hamlet | 21/2/26

SE9 hosts SE22 at the Arctic Stadium this weekend as Cray Valley (PM) take on Dulwich Hamlet in the Isthmian League.

The Hamlet will be looking to bounce back from back to back defeats to promotion hopefuls Aveley and Folkestone Invicta.

It was a 2-1 defeat to 2nd place Aveley on our last away day with Lonit Talla scoring in the final moments. Last weekend champions elect Folkestone Invicta took all 3 points at Champion Hill with a 2-0 victory.

Having started life at step 3 last season with a bang reaching the Isthmian League play-offs, Cray Valley (PM) have struggled to recapture last season's form and find themselves in the relegation places heading into this weekend's match.

Steve McKimm departed the club on February 10th with former EFL player and Millers player Kevin Lisbie taking over as manager on February 12th. Lisbie started life with an away trip to fellow strugglers Canvey Island.

4 goals in the opening 29 minutes made that game one of the more entertaining fixtures in the Isthmian League last weekend as they battled it out for a point.

This Saturday will be Lisbie's first game in the home dugout and will look to start his tenure in SE9 with a valuable victory over the Hamlet.

Victory for the Millers could move them out of the relegation zone and into 17th position. Whilst a victory for the Hamlet will potentially move us up to 12th above next weekend's opponents Chichester City.

SQUAD NEWS:

Gaspar Mico and Tom Chambers both returned to training this week and could be in contention to return on Tuesday night against Chatham Town. Amadou Kassarate is back in contention this weekend as he completed his 3 match suspension last weekend. Anthony Jeffrey is also back in contention after missing our defeat to Folkestone Invicta after a family bereavement.
