MATCH PREVIEW | Dulwich Hamlet vs Aveley | Isthmian League | 28/10/25

Mark Dacey's Dulwich Hamlet return to South London on Tuesday night as Essex based side Aveley visit Champion Hill in the Isthmian League.

The Hamlet had a weekend off following our early exit from the FA Trophy, before that it was 2 away trips to Folkestone Invicta and Chatham Town.

Nyren Clunis put the men in pink & blue ahead on the south coast with a tidy finish from a short corner. In the 2nd half the Hamlet missed yet another penalty before falling behind thanks to 2 quick goals from the visitors. Joseph Adewunmi would rescue a point with a bullet header in the last minute.

Tuesday night saw Dacey's side head to Kent again, this time to Chatham Town. Despite a number of decent chances including a strike from Luke Wanadio that forced the Chatham keeper into a decent save the score would finish level at 0-0.

The last 3 games has seen the Hamlet take on 3 of the sides in the play-offs picking up a point against all of them.

Tuesday night sees a new challenge in former National League South side Aveley visit Champion Hill. The Millers have started life at step 3 in relatively good fashion. Notable victories have come against Lewes and Welling United.

Their form away from Parkside has certainly been stronger picking up 3 wins from their 3 away league fixtures.

On Saturday afternoon they secured a late winner against strugglers Potters Bar Town. The Millers took an early 2-0 lead before the hosts clawed their way back into the game. Ollie Peters scored their 3rd in the 91st minute.

SQUAD NEWS:

Gaspar Mico remains out and is looking at a return to action at some point in November. Anthony Jeffrey is also likely to miss this fixture but could return to action on Saturday when we visit Chichester City.
