MATCH PREVIEW | Dulwich Hamlet vs Billericay Town | 21/3/26
The Hamlet lock horns with old rivals Billericay Town on Saturday afternoon at Champion Hill, looking to bounce back from defeat to Lewes.
Mark Dacey's side have suffered back to back away defeats against St Albans City and Lewes and will want to return to winning ways this time around.
Last time at Champion Hill the Hamlet sailed to a 4-1 lead against Whitehawk at half-time before the Hawks staged a 2nd half come back from the Hawks almost saw them return to the Sussex coast with a point.
Despite controlling large parts of the game at Lewes 2 early goals for the Rooks would cost the men from South London. A Danny Mills header just before half-time put the Hamlet back in contention but despite an onslaught on the Lewes goal. We returned from Sussex empty handed.
Billericay have hit form at just the right time under new manager Danny Scopes. They've lost just twice since the turn of the year against Hashtag United and St Albans City.
Their run of victories has seen them open up a 5 point gap over 6th place Dartford as the race for the play-offs enters its final stages.
A win for the Hamlet could see us move into 9th above St Albans City and Ramsgate. Whilst victory for Billericay could move them level on points with 4 place Chatham Town as they look to secure a play-off spot.
SQUAD NEWS:
Anthony Jeffrey and Jordan Wynter both returned to training this week and could return to action at Champion Hill on Saturday. Geoffrey Okonkwo is moving closer to a return to playing and could be in contention when we host Potters Bar Town next weekend.
