MATCH PREVIEW | Dulwich Hamlet vs Burgess Hill Town | 18/4/26
The Hamlet bring our 25/26 Home Isthmian League campaign to an end on Saturday afternoon as Burgess Hill Town come to South London.
Champion Hill has become a bit of a fortress in recent months with 6 wins from 7 in all competitions. The only defeat coming against promotion hopefuls Billericay Town.
A win for Mark Dacey's side could potentially secure 9th place in the Isthmian League if results go our way elsewhere and with a London Senior Cup Final on the horizon it could be a season to remember for the Hamlet.
Last weekend the Hamlet fell to defeat against a Welling United side fighting for survival. The Wings followed that victory up with another victory over Potters Bar Town in the week as the Wings look to have all but secured safety.
Before that it was a 2-1 victory over strugglers Carshalton Athletic with goals from David Smith and Anthony Jeffrey.
Burgess Hill Town were defeated by Cheshunt last weekend before that thought they'd recorded back-to-back victories over Chichester City and Brentwood Town.
They've picked up 10 wins and 5 draws on the road this season, making them the 5th best team away from home in the Isthmian League so far this season. The Hamlet have secured 9 wins and 4 draws when lining up at Champion Hill.
Chris Whelpdale is their top goalscorer having hit the back of the met on 14 occasions this season.
In the return fixture the Hamlet looked to be the first away team to win at Burgess Hill Town in nearly 2 years only for the Hillians to score a controversial equaliser in the dying moments.
SQUAD NEWS:
Alfie Payne and Jadan Raymond remain out for the remainder of the season, apart from them Mark Dacey has a fully fit squad at his disposal.
