MATCH PREVIEW | Dulwich Hamlet vs Charlton Athletic | London Senior Cup | 25/02/25
We're back in Senior Cup action on Tuesday night as we host 2 time defending champions Charlton Athletic in the quarter-finals of the London's biggest cup competition.
The Hamlet defeated Sutton Common Rovers in the last round of the competition. Goals from Max Hudson, Danny Mills and Kreshnic Krasniqi meant the Hamlet sailed into the quarter-finals. Before that it was a victory on penalties against Leyton Orient following a 1-1 draw under the Champion Hill floodlights.
The Addicks won this competition last time out thanks to a win over Hendon right here at Champion Hill in May 2024. This year they've defeated step 5 side Fisher FC 6-1 and defeated fellow Isthmian Premier Division side Wingate & Finchley 9-2.
In the league Charlton Athletic are top of the Professional Development League South division having picked up 43 points scoring 66 and conceding 31. Their last defeat came against 2nd in the division Brentford in January. This month they've defeated Stockport County in the Premier League Cup before defeating Millwall and Colchester United in the league.
The Hamlet had a weekend off following the Postponement of our league fixture with Potters Bar Town on Saturday afternoon.
