MATCH PREVIEW | Dulwich Hamlet vs Cheshunt | 17/1/26
The Hamlet return to Champion Hill looking to build on the victory over Potters Bar Town as Cheshunt visit Champion Hill.
2026 began with a victory for Mark Dacey and his side against Potters Bar Town last weekend. A debut goal from new striker David Smith on the stroke of half-time set up an exciting 2nd half. Goals from Luke Wanadio and Lonit Talla saw us cruise to a 3-1 victory.
It's a different side from Hertfordshire this weekend with Cheshunt making the journey south. They started the season in great form but have recently dipped and find themselves just outside of the relegation zone on goal difference.
The Ambers last victory came back in November when they defeated Canvey Island 2-0 at Theobalds Lane, their last away victory in the league came over the August Bank Holiday weekend when they defeated St Albans City.
It's their 2nd visit to South London this week after they played out a 3-3 draw with Carshalton Athletic on Monday night.
A win for them could see them move as high as 15th in the table whilst the Hamlet could move to within 4 points of the play-offs.
SQUAD NEWS:
Tom Chambers will miss out this weekend after the injury he suffered against Potters Bar Town last time out. His recovery time is still to be confirmed. Anthony Cook is back available for selection after his 3 match ban ended following his red card against Lewes in December.
