MATCH PREVIEW | Dulwich Hamlet vs Cheshunt | Isthmian League | 15/3/25
The Hamlet picked up their first away league win since September 7th on Tuesday night as a David Bremang goal was enough to seal victory against Potters Bar Town that win moved the Hamlet 9 points clear of the drop and level on points with our next opponents Cheshunt.
A win for the Hamlet and results elsewhere going our away mean the Hamlet could end Saturday 12 points clear of the relegation zone as we enter what is potentially our hardest run of 3 games all season.
George Porter got only his 2nd start of 2025 on Tuesday night and he made it count playing a blinding ball through to David Bremang who for the 2nd game in a row took the ball round the keeper before slotting it home into an empty net.
Last time out at Champion Hill the Hamlet lost 3-1 to Lewes in front of a sell-out crowd. Amaru Kaunda bagged an early goal before the Sussex side came out firing in the 2nd half.
Cheshunt have lost their last 2 against Carshalton Athletic and Chatham Town. Before that though the Ambers destroyed then league leaders Dartford 3-0.
When the Ambers clashed with the Hamlet earlier this season they took a first half lead before Luke Wanadio equalised in the 2nd half with each side settling for a point.
SQUAD NEWS:
Ross Marshall, Ryley Scott and Ralfi Hand all miss out. Anthony Jeffrey stepped up his recovery this week and is now on track to feature against Dover Athletic next weekend. Luke Wanadio and Jerome Binnom-Williams both trained on Thursday night so are available for selection again. Dillon Barnes is now also cleared to play following 2 weeks out after his concussion against Charlton Athletic in the London Senior Cup.
