Saturday afternoon was one to forget for the men in pink & blue despite taking the lead against Lewes through Joseph Adewunmi it was the Sussex based side who left SE22 the happier of the two.
A penalty from Charlie Walker just before half-time levelled the scores before 3 goals in 13 minutes saw Lewes return to Sussex with all 3 points after a 4-1 victory.
Last-time out in this competition the Hamlet cruised to victory against step 4 Harrow Borough at Champion Hill defeating them 4-0.
Kingstonian find themselves in 18th in the Isthmian South Central division. Just outside the relegation zone on goal difference.
They're 7 points below Harrow Borough who we defeated in the last round of this competition. On Saturday afternoon they fell to defeat against 2nd place Westfield 3-2.
The K's last win came on November 29th when they defeated Bedfont Sports 2-1.
In the last round of this competition they defeated Broadbridge Heath in Sussex. The K's secured victory in the 96th minute as they overcame the 9 men from Sussex who play in the Isthmian South East division.
The winners of this tie will host Wingate & Finchley in the Quarter-Finals in January, looking further ahead the final of the competition is in April at Parkside the home of Aveley.
SQUAD NEWS:
The only injury in the squad currently is Gaspar Mico's as he is set to return in January. Geoffrey Okonkwo and Jadan Raymond could both feature in this one to gain some valuable minutes. Alfie Payne who came off after a knock on Saturday should be fine to feature against the K's.
