MATCH PREVIEW | Dulwich Hamlet vs St Albans City | 8/11/25

We return to the Isthmian League on Saturday afternoon looking to pick up where we left off on Tuesday night.

The Hamlet returned to winning ways on Tuesday evening with a comfortable victory over Harrow Borough in the Velocity Cup. A brace from Nyren Clunis alongside goals from Joseph Adewunmi and Anthony Cook saw the Hamlet breeze past lower league opposition.

It bought an end to a run of 5 consecutive draws. Mark Dacey's side picked up points against 4 of the top 6 and with the other coming against Chichester City

It's our 3rd game of a stacked November which will see us line-up at Champion Hill 6 times. Mark Dacey will be looking to guide the side to our 1st league victory since September and potentially back into the play-off positions by 5pm on Saturday afternoon.

St Albans City have started life at step 3 with relative ease. They find themselves in 13th position but managed to reach the Emirates FA Cup 1st round before losing to EFL side Burton Albion.

Their last league victory came in mid October when they defeated Welling United at Clarence Park. Last weekend they exited the FA Trophy following a 2-0 defeat to Hanwell Town in Hertfordshire.

SQUAD NEWS:

The Hamlet will be without Anthony Jeffrey as he continues his recovery from the injury he sustained against Chatham Town. He should return on Tuesday night when we host Wingate & Finchley at Champion Hill.

Luke Wanadio could return on Saturday providing much needed fire power to Mark Dacey's side.
