MATCH PREVIEW | Dulwich Hamlet vs Whitehawk | Isthmian League | 3/1/26
The Hamlet kick off 2026 with a home tie against Whitehawk on Saturday afternoon.
2025 finished with 2 draws for Mark Dacey and his side against Ramsgate and Carshalton Athletic. Amadou Kassarate scored our only goal in Carshalton with a header on the stroke of half-time.
The visitors this weekend were the 1st side to defeat the Hamlet this year back in August when our run of 4 consecutive defeats from the opening day came to an end! The Hawks scored just before half-time and despite the Hamlet's best efforts we left the Brighton cost empty handed.
Whitehawk's last game of 2025 was abandoned following a floodlight failure, despite the Hawks being 2-0 up against rivals Lewes.
Before that abandonement they'd won 2 away games on the bounce with victories over Cray Wanderers and Cray Valley (PM)
The find themselves in 12th place just a point below the Hamlet heading into the 1st fixture of 2026!
A win for Mark Dacey's side could move them within touching distance of the play-offs heading into an important January.
SQUAD NEWS:
Gaspar Mico is now cleared to return to action after his lengthy spell out on the sidelines. Anthony Cook serves his final ban following his red card against Lewes in mid December.
