MATCH PREVIEW | Fisher vs Dulwich Hamlet | London Senior Cup | 3/3/26
Two of Southwark's biggest football clubs lock horns in the Quarter-Finals of the London Senior Cup on Tuesday night as Fisher host the Hamlet.
Mark Dacey's side come into this match in our best form since August. February finished with 3 wins from 3 against Cray Valley (PM), Chatham Town and Chichester City.
It was a battling performance on Saturday afternoon that saw the men in Pink & Blue come out as 3-1 winners in front of over 3000 at Champion Hill.
That result keeps the Hamlet 8 points off of the Isthmian League Premier division play-offs with 10 games remaining.
Tuesday nights focus is the London Senior Cup and a visit to old rivals Fisher. The winner of this one will take on either Erith Town or Leyton Orient in the Semi-Final. Erith take on Orient on Tuesday night which means our potential route the final will be known.
Our opponents on Tuesday have won 5 in a row in the Southern Counties East Premier Divsion (SCEFL). That run of results leaves them firmly inside the play-offs as they look for promotion to the Isthmian South East division.
In the last round of this competition they defeated Isthmian League Premier side Wingate & Finchley 3-1. This will be the first time the Hamlet and Fisher have met since pre season at the beginning of the 24/25 campaign.
SQUAD NEWS:
Anthony Jeffrey and Jordan Wynter will be missing on Tuesday after picking up knocks against Chatham Town and Chichester City. Apart from that a fully fit Hamlet squad will be at the desposal of Mark Dacey as he looks to guide the Hamlet into the semi-finals of the competition.
