MATCH PREVIEW | Ramsgate vs Dulwich Hamlet | 16/08/25
The Hamlet head to the seaside for the 1st time this season to take on newly promoted Ramsgate on Saturday afternoon.
The boys in pink & blue continued their fine start to the 25/26 Isthmian League season on Tuesday night as they followed up their 4-0 victory over Dartford with a gritty 1-0 win away to Wingate & Finchley.
Gaspar Mico grabbed the only goal of the game and his first for the Hamlet. He was played in on goal by Luke Wanadio and Mico made no mistake tucking home from a tight angle.
The Hamlet secured back to back clean sheets and their first away win of the season as an injury hit Hamlet side returned from North London with all 3 points.
The Hamlet head to the south coast 2nd in the form table with Mark Dacey and his side hopefully laying the foundations for a more successful season than last.
Newly promoted Ramsgate started the season with a bang last weekend. They took a 2-0 lead against Whitehawk before the Hawks came back to level the scoring. Alfie Paxman though would give them an opening day to remember as he struck home a 95th minute penalty to give the Rams all 3 points.
On Tuesday night they headed to Chatham Town who will have wanted to do better than their opening day draw with newbies St Albans City. Paxman bagged a brace for the Rams but Chatham would come out on top with a 4-2 victory.
Ben Smith's side beat Sittingbourne to the Isthmian South East title last season after missing out in the play-offs the season before and will be looking for an impressive debut campaign in the Isthmian Premier division this year.
