Our FA Cup journey continues on Saturday afternoon as we make the journey to Salisbury to take on the side that currently sits 3rd in the National League South.

The Hamlet climbed into 5th in the Isthmian League on Tuesday thanks to a resilient display against Aveley. A first half goal from Gaspar Mico was followed up by a world class strike from striker Ogo Obi to secure a 2-0 win.

It's been a week of different preparations for each side, whilst the Hamlet have been preparing for the game at our training ground just a few hundred yards away from Champion Hill our hosts took a different approach. They've been in Kuwait on a mid-season warm weather training camp.

The Whites were taken over by Ali Alhamad in June 2025 as the looked to stablise in the National League South.

Salisbury FC is a phoenix club of Salisbury City FC. City entered administration in 2014 which led to the formation of Salisbury FC in the winter of 2014. If they are to win on Saturday it will be the first time they've reached the FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round.

In their last 3 games they've beaten Truro City and Folkestone Invicta in the league whilst also defeating Taunton Town in the FA Cup.

SQUAD NEWS:

Lonit Talla returned to training this week so he could make a return to action on Saturday. Tom Chambers could feature after he was bought off in the 1st half on Tuesday night. Amadou Kassarate is out with concussion following a first half collision at Hastings United.

Toby Bull continues to work with his ongoing groin and hip issue and David Smith continues to work back from the Hamstring injury he suffered in September. Apart from that a fully fit Hamlet squad will descend on Wiltshire this weekend.
