The Hamlet swap South London for the South coast on Tuesday night with a trip to Whitehawk on offer as Mark Dacey and his side look for their 2nd away win of the season.

In perhaps some of the worst conditions we've seen football played in on Saturday the Hamlet secured a point against Maldon & Tiptree.

The Hamlet went behind late in the 1st half after Charlee Hughes converted from the penalty spot.

Within a minute of the 2nd half starting though the men in pink & blue would find themselves level thanks to David Smith, he bounced on a rebound and fired home from 3 yards out to put the Hamlet level.

Nyren Clunis went close 10 minutes later after a 1 man counter attack but her fired just wide.

Hudson Sands was in his usual top form and made a number of impressive saves to ensure we returned to SE22 with a point.

Whitehawk defeated St Albans City on Saturday in the FA Trophy thanks to a penalty shoot-out win. The Hawks are under new management as Rob Kember took charge just over 10 days ago.

The Hawks drew 1-1 with Cheshunt in their first game under Kember.

SQUAD NEWS:

The Hamlet will have a near enough fully fit side heading to Whitehawk on Tuesday with Toby Bull the only man on the physio bed at the moment with his ongoing groin issue.

Samir Carruthers and Gaspar Mico are now back in the gym and closing in on a return to training in the next week or 2.
