MATCH PREVIEW | Wingate & Finchley vs Dulwich Hamlet | Isthmian League | 12/10/25
The Hamlet head to North London on Tuesday night to take on Wingate & Finchley in our first midweek fixture of the 25/26 season.
If you missed it the Hamlet started the new Isthmian League season in sensational style on Saturday afternoon as they blew last years play-off finalists Dartford away with a 4-0 victory. Lonit Talla opened the scoring on his debut before Luke Wanadio bagged himself a hat-trick against one of his former sides.
The Hamlet recorded just 2 away wins throughout the 24/25 Isthmian League campaign a stat that new manager Mark Dacey won't want to repeat this time around.
Wingate & Finchley started the 25/26 season with defeat in Essex as Billericay Town on Saturday. New signing Jack Evans and Tyler Miller-Rodney put the Essex side 2 up before Wingate pulled on back in the 97th minute.
This fixture was an opening day defeat for the Hamlet last season. Ogo Obi put Wingate ahead following a mistake from keeper Dillon Barnes. Obi then doubled the lead in the 57th minute. Luke Wanadio then launched a 1 man comeback as he bagged a brace to put the Hamlet level with 5 to go before Ryan Lowe secured the win for the hosts.
In the return fixture the Hamlet were victorious as they finished a run of 5 consecutive home games with victory thanks to a 97th minute winner that sent Champion Hill into a frenzy and ended up with Danny Mills in the crowd.
