The match referee carried out a pitch inspection of his own on arrival at the ground & called the game off at 1.15PM.

Following a lot of hard work, which Merstham Football Club believed was enough for the match to take place, and which was passed fit by a local referee earlier this morning, it came as a great disapppointment to both sides to find, on arrival at the ground, that the actual match referee thought the pitch was not fit for play.

The next Dulwich Hamlet match is now this coming Wednesday, at home to Wealdstone,from the Premier Division, in the Isthmian League Cup, 7.45pm kick off.

PLEASE NOTE: Dulwich Hamlet season tickets will NOT be valid for this game, as it is a cup tie, where gate money must be split.
