
Mixed fortunes for Dulwich Hamlet / ASPIRE Academy youngsters today
In the Kent Youth League there was a big win for the Under 15s whilst the Under 14s battled gamely but failed to break their duck.
With the successful conclusion of both their Football Conference Youth Alliance and Kent Youth League campaigns, Sunday was deserved day of rest for the ASPIRE Academy coached Under 18s. Meanwhile the Under 16s were also without a game, returning to action next Sunday afternoon when they entertain HF Sports Paulista at Rutland Walk.
It was a successful Sunday for the Under 15s who chalked up their third win in five games as they put four goals without reply past bottom club Phoenix Sports on their opponents turf.
The winless Under 14s put in a determined performance away to Crayford Arrows, currently holding second spot in that division. However they were unable to collect their first points of the season as the Arrows finished 3-1 winners at Bakers Field.
In the South London and Kent Youth Football League (SELKENT), the Under 12s entertained but unable to improve on their below-par run of late as Club Langley Hawks, second placed in the B West division, edged the contest 2-1.
