More news on the commercial front

New Football Club Chairman Liam Hickey had a column in the Charlton programme tonight, again wearing his 'commercial hat'

Here's what he had to say:

Welcome back to Champion Hill as we build up to the new season with more attractive local opposition.
In terms of this coming season, I am delighted at the number of sponsors that have renewed for another season.
Firstly, to Supreme Engraving Awards UK & The Honor Oak Handyman who have both renewed their support of the player awards for Man of the Match & Player of the Month. We hope that many more of you will get involved with these. Talking of which, we currently use Message Boards, Twitter, E Mail & Text Message to collect votes but want to know what other systems we could use. Any suggestions then just email me.
I would like to thank the following:
Joseph Decorating who have recently redecorated the Boardroom which looks amazing.
Barry Road Barbers who is great supporter of this club and recruiter of new fans to the club; even though he works every Saturday.
Peckham Soul who came on board at the end of last season.

H R Jennings who are another of our longest serving partners. If you need any business related insurance, then contact them.
Elia Olive Oil, a quality product and owned by one of our fans.
Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward, who have shown a lot of belief in this club with their sponsorship of all our teams.
Abal Environmental, who have returned as advertisers and whose work is appreciated by all those who no longer stand ibn the dirt that used to be so evident in the covered terrace area. If you need pest control, then they are number one.
Waterintobeer, look out for their imminent launch
Streatham Ice Hockey, it’s great to be able to work with a different sport to help each other.
However, as you can see, there are still lots of opportunities available and you can earn money just by introducing a business to us that then goes on to advertise or sponsor the club. Prices are listed in the programme.
Turning to individual player sponsors, these are filling up well and I would expect all players to be sponsored again this year. If you want to sponsor your favourite just to get your name (or that of your business) read out every time your player is in the team, then let me know.
Additionally, with the fixtures now out, we have lots of matches and match balls to be sponsored so get in touch to reserve yours. Our packages are the lowest priced in the league.
Thank you once again to all those who support the various schemes we run to raise money. I am delighted that we have been able to hold admission prices for this season, with our match day concession price the lowest, and with the widest ranging number of categories, at our level of football.
I am sure we all aim to make this club the best it can be and to enhance the match day experience for everybody. We are all working hard (in between the day jobs) but if you can spare just a few hours to help then it would be appreciated.
Finally, thank you to everybody who has offered help on the Commercial & Community Sub Committees that we are looking to launch. We will be in touch shortly to invite you to an open meeting so keep an eye on the programme, website and other social media
