For over ten years David has been photographing non-League football grounds and endeavouring to capture the essence of our game at this level. His photographs of the game against Burgess Hill capture not just the game but the whole spirit of one amazing day, from volunteers who willingly give up their time to somehow keep the whole thing alive, though supporters of every age, shape and allegiance to the players who may not always be blessed with the talents that grace the Premier League play with a passion and pride that often puts their millionaire counterparts to shame.
