
New date for Crystal Palace Under 23s fixture at Champion Hill
The Young Eagles Professional Development League game against Coventry City has been put back 24 hours to Tuesday afternoon.
Originally set for next Monday 24th October, Crystal Palace Under 23s with now be entertaining their counterparts from Coventry City the following day, Tuesday 25th. This game will still be taking place at Champion Hill with a 1 o'clock kick off. Admission prices are £4 for adults, £2 for all the usual Dulwich Hamlet concessions with under 13 free.
This will be the third of nine games for the Crystal Palace development squad that Dulwich Hamlet have hosted and there's been some cracking football on display. Against Barnsley, the young Eagles looked to on their way to a 2-0 defeat until a late leveller from Corie Andrews earned them a draw. In their second run out at the Hill, Palace’s development side chalked up a comfortable win 3-1 against a Hull City side featuring former Folkestone Invicta striker Johan ter Horst. With big brother Christian watching on Jonathan Benteke grabbing the third goal early in the second as he made his mark on the scoresheet for the first time as a fledgling Eagle.
