NO GAME SATURDAY...& Council hold Greendale consultation
With our match at East Thurrock United postponed, as they are still in the FA Cup, ALL Dulwich Hamlet fans are encouraged to go to the consultation
The second stage of the Southwark Council public consultation is being held on Saturday (27th September) from 10.00am to 4.00pm on the Dog Kennel Hill open space, which is the land just above the Sainsburys car park.
Following the intial public consultations back in August, when Southwark Council made no mention of Dulwich Hamlet Football Club, or a new, modern, compact, community stadium on any improved Greendale site; the future of our Club consistently featured highest in comments from people who responded.
It is vital that Dulwich Hamlet fans come along and let Southwark Council know how vital a new sustainable stadium is for not just the future of our Club, but for the long-term future of the rest of the Greendale area.
Speak to the Council Offiers on the day, let them know the strength of local feeling in support of our Club.
We would urge all of our supporters who attend, whether regular attendees at our matches, or simply local people who care about the future of our Club to raise the following points, with more of your own, to them:
•acknowledge the importance of Dulwich Hamlet Football Club;
•recognise the benefits of keeping such a strong community club in the local area;
and
•cooperate with Hadley Property Group to deliver designs that are in the best interests of the fans, local residents and the wider community.
