Nyren Clunis is our men's 1st team captain.
Dulwich Hamlet Football Club are delighted to announce that club legend Nyren Clunis has been named as men's team captain ahead of the 25/26 season.
The King of Camberwell returned home to Champion Hill this summer after a few years away and has been awarded with the captaincy by Manager Mark Dacey.
On receiving the honour Clunis had this to say: "It’s an honour to be able to captain such an amazing club, my boyhood club, the club that gave me so much great memories. As captain I hope to bring back some of them great memories moving forward."
Manager Mark Dacey who chose Nyren to lead the side said: "You can't bring a King back to his Palace and not give him his crown."
Nyren will be supported in his role by defender Michael Chambers and midfielder Sean Bonnett-Johnson who are the teams vice captains.
Everyon at the Hill would like to congratulate Nyren and look forward to seeing him lead the Hamlet this weekend when we welcome Dartford to Champion Hill. Tickets are still available here.
