Here is our 'Commercial & Community Column' from the programme against AFC Hornchurch at the weekend:

Back at Champion Hill, and the great news, especially for those Hamlet fans who can’t make every home game, is that we now have a match recording partner, in Football Exclusives. All highlights will be available ONLY on the new website www.footballexclusives.com , which will also include match commentary. There will also be post match interviews with management and players. The highlights will be available to Premium Members at a cost of £5 per month and we hope that many of our supporters will sign up for the service. As part of the agreement with Football Exclusives they will be giving back 40% of gross revenue generated from Dulwich Hamlet fans who become Premium Members back to the club. This will be used to boost the 12th Man Fund and Football In The Community Scheme.

Football Exclusives Founder, Mike Bandry speaking to our official website at www.pitchero.com/clubs/dulwichhamlet said: “As a group we are delighted to have an agreement with The Hamlet to become the official filming partner for the 2014/15 season. We want to ensure the club benefits from the revenue received from Premium Memberships and are excited at the prospect of generating extra income for the Football Club and its community work. I am positive that as a partnership we can look forward to a prosperous future both on and off the pitch and we are very happy to be an official club partner.”

Liam Hickey, who brokered this exciting deal explains: " Whilst I know that the fans are proud to sing that Dulwich Hamlet will not be televised, the partnership with Football Exclusives will provide the club with increased exposure and offer a service that I believe has been lacking as the club has grown. It will also give access to footage of the full game to Gavin Rose which I hope will help him going forward."

Many of you will have seen the highlights clips that have been linked to our website, and the independent fans message boards; & I am sure you will agree they are extremely well produced for such a new venture. Not only does it give The Hamlet great exposure, it also helps Gavin & his staff to look back on games. And with 40% going back into our Club schemes there really is no excuse not to sign up. Hopefully lots of our fans will do exactly that, and repay the faith that Football Exclusives have put in Dulwich Hamlet by linking up with us at Champion Hill.

We look forward to seeing you all at Champion Hill this coming Tuesday, for our midweek home game with Wingate & Finchley, and not just you. We are also looking forward to seeing quite a few ‘first timers’ as guests of our season ticket holders. As you are all aware we have had a number of ‘free ticket’ offers recently, and will continue to expand on these. The aim is to try to build our crowds game by game, through targeting different community groups, with a free admission offer for specific matches. By doing this we realise it may appear we are alienating some of our most loyal fans, but nothing could be further from the truth. We really appreciate all of our loyal season tickets holders, who shell out their admission in advance. Which is already shown, not just by the fact you, in effect, get a few home matches free if you attend every home game, but we are also one of a minority of clubs at our level who are proud to include pre-season
matches for our season ticket holders. But we are also aware that whilst we are giving out tickets, and targeting individual sections of the local community, so newcomers can sample the ‘Champion Hill experience’, we cannot offer a free ticket offer to season ticket holders, as they have already got them!
