Once more...thank you all!
On Tuesday night, at the Crystal Palace game, we collected for local charities working in West London with survivors of the Grenfell Disaster.
We are extremely grateful to everyone who contributed to both the bucket collection & bought '50/50' tickets, all of the proceeds winging its way over across London, to help those in need.
Together we raised an amazing figure of FIVE HUNDRED AND TWENTY SIX POUNDS & SEVENTY PENCEWe would also like to thank the joint volunteers of collectors from both the Football Committee & the Supporters Trust, who all have aching arms from shaking the buckets.
Football Club Chairman Liam Hickey praised the sum raised:
"This is a huge amount that will help some of those affected by this terrible disaster to slowly rebuild their lives. It's an amazing figure when you bear in mind that lots of us will have already donated personally in the immediate aftermath of the shocking fire."
