Oshane Brown completes his hat-trick!

Oshane Brown completes his hat-trick!

Our young keeper has just won an extremely impressive award to add to his two Club ones

Young 17-year-old Hamlet goalkeeper OSHANE BROWN has belied his tender years, with some top notch performances between the sticks, having stood in for our first choice custodian Phil Wilson, after he got injured.

His performances were acknowledged by Dulwich Hamlet fans when they twice voted him the Supreme Engraving & Awards UK Man of the Match, following his clean sheets in the recent games against fellow Premier Division promotion challengers Metropolitan Police (away) & at home to Hendon.

These were recently presented to him post-match in the Hamlet clubhouse, after our recent FA Trophy victory at home to Chalfont St Peter.

Yesterday, to cap a superb month for young Oshane, it was announced on the official Isthmian League website yesterday that he is the October Premier Division winner of the Ryman League’s Precision Golden Gloves Awards.

The website informed the rest of non-league football:

Teenage keeper Brown wins his first award of the campaign on the back of his impressive form since stepping up at Champion Hill to replace Hamlet's injured number one Phil Wilson. In six league and cup outings for manager Gavin Rose, Brown conceded just four goals to take the Ryman's top fight accolade.

The award covers the whole league, the lower division honours went to Thurrock keeper Andy Walker and Burgess Hll Town's Josh James .

The monthly ‘safe hands’ honours in the Ryman Premier, Ryman North and Ryman South divisions returned last season with new sponsors from Nottingham-based Reydon Sports PLC. They are the UK's largest sports and leisure wholesale and distribution company, they are sponsoring the accolades through their Precision Goalkeeping brand with the keepers each set to receive a pair of Precision Goalkeeping gloves provided by ProKit UK, the nominated retailer administering the awards on behalf of Precision Training.

Congratulations to young Oshane, yet another successful graduate from the Gavin Rose led ASPIRE Academy,
from all at Dulwich Hamlet Football Club.
