Our round up of the local papers
Once again it's time to look back at the Dulwich Hamlet coverage over the last week
Starting our round-up, we include the report from last Sunday's 'Non League Paper':
Casuals lose it to Hamlet
(by John Lawrence)
League leaders Dulwich Hamlet made hard work of beating lowly Corinthian Casuals befre three late goals gave them all the points. Dulwich dominated the first half but squanderedseveral chances including a 16th-minute penalty which Erhun Oztumer hit wide. Casuals also had decent chances and Joel Thompson missed twice. It was not until the 77th minute when Hamlet finally broke the deadlock as a fumble by Danny Bracken was put in by Nyron Clunis. Oztumer confirmed Dulwich's victory three minutes from time when he tapped home another low cross. Deep into added time Clunis notched his second and Dulwich's third after receiving Oztumer'sthrough ball and slotting home.

We had the headline in the small non-league column, from the midweek edition of the 'South London Press' on Tuesday:
Dulwich remain top
Dulwich Hamlet held on to top spot in Ryman Division One South after a 3-0 victory over Corinthian Casuals on Saturday. They left it late however, with Nyrgn Clunis grabbing the first of his brace with less than 20 minutes remaining. Erhun Oztumer scored the other. Hamlet face the same opponents tonight in the fourth round of the London Senior Cup.
In the 'Southwark News', which was published yesterday, we have already covered their lead non-league story, which was coverage of our '12th Man' campaign..which you can read again by clicking here.
There was also coverage of our two victories over Corinthian-Casuals.
Hamlet double up on Casuals
Dulwich completed a quick-fire double over Corinthian Casuals this week defeating them in the league and the London Senior Cup in the space of ofur days.
Three goals in the last eighteen minutes eventually saw Hamlet home after a frustrating afternoon on Saturday.
The hard fought win over a determined Casuals side was achieved through goals from Nyren Clunis, with two, and a tap in from Erhun Oztumer.
The game opened with Dulwich totally dominant and after twelve minutes Ellis Green was tripped in the area. It seemed only a formality for Oztumer to convert, but having sent the keeper the wrong way he put the spot kick wide.
But that miss did not prove costly despite the defiance of the Casuals who eventually succumbed to Dulwich who maintained their place at the top of the Ryman League south.
The game on Tuesday evening was similarly one-sided but it took Dulwich only ten minutes to open the scoring with Calaum Martin netting the first goal of the game.
Another two goals from Junior James and an Abdul Manasaray effort late on meant the result was never really in doubt. Matt Ellis scored from the spot for the Casuals when the visitors were already three goals behind.
And finally, from the weekend edition of the 'South London Press', published earleir today:
Impressive youngsters boost Dulwich squad depth
Dulwich Hamlet boss Gavin Rose saluted his side's squad depth after they breezed past Corinthian Casuals 4-1 in the London Senior Cup fourth round on Tuesday. Rose fielded several youngsters and players needing match sharpness against a team they had beaten 3-0 in the league just three days earlier.
"It was particularly pleasing that we used so many lads from the youth team," Rose said. "We picked players who we felt were pushing for a first team place and they did not let us down on the night. It shows we have strength in depth. It's difficult to hang your hat on youngsters because they can be hit and miss but these lads are willing and eager. There will be more difficult days for them but performances like this will benefit the club."
Rose is looking forward to the competition his youngsters can provide for the more senior players.
"The teams' attitude has been excellent but we have relied on the same core of players for a few weeks now because of injuries," he said. "It is natural instinct to rest up if you aren't looking over your shoulder and it can be hard to stay motivated but now the first team know that if they don't perform, someone can take their place."
League leaders Dulwich travel to Folkestone Invicta in the Ryman Division One South league tomorrow. They are 11th in the table but Rose believes it is a false position. "They are a very good, experienced team,"he said. "They won this league a few years ago and are always around the play-offs so I think they will be pushing for that by the end of the year."
Second-placed Maidstone United dropped points in the league on Tuesday but rose is still not paying much attention to the table. "A few supporters let us know after the game that Maidstone had drawn but we are still concentrating on ourselves," he said.
Left-back Ahmed Deen played half an hour on Tuesday after injury and centre-half Josh Turner completed 90 minutes. Dulwich have also signed defender Tom Skelton from Sittingbourne. "We are getting much closer to a settled back four and fully fit first team now," Rose said. "After the prbolems we had having enough fit defenders, it is a relief to have a fully fit squad again".
Midfielders Luke Hickie & Ellis Green are supended due to accumulated yellow cards.
