Next Tuesday, 18th July, we host Crawley Town & we shall be holding a bucket collection for the Beckenham Town keeper who broke his leg last night

The score and abandonment of the match was immaterial last night, after the young Beckenham Town goalkeeper suffered a broken leg in the second half after an innocuous challenge.

It's not a sight anyone wants to see in football, at any level, and all at Dulwich Hamlet Football Club wish their custodian Graham Loki a good recovery from the injury.

A number of concerned Hamlet fans approached out Committee members present to see what we could do for him, and we were already thinking ahead.

At the Crawley Town match we shall have buckets rattling around the ground to help him out a little financially until he is back on his feet, which we hope will cause a little less worry to his family.

And the Football Club have also decided to donate the proceeds from the '50/50 Draw' that night to the collection as well.

This coming Saturday, when we do not have a game, Beckenham Town host Bromley, and they shall also be collecting at that.

So, if you've not got a game to go to at the weekend why not pop along to Eden Park Avenue, and please-if you are fortunate enough to have some spare change-please donate at Champion Hill next Tuesday, and maybe buy an extra '50/50' ticket or two.
