The Hamlet head to the South Coast for a their 3rd game in 7 days.

After an emphatic second half display away to Hemel Hempstead, Dulwich Hamlet target
back-to-back victories when they visit Priory Lane this Saturday, as Gavin Rose’s troops
now line up Eastbourne Borough FC after their recent happy hunting trip.

Bank holiday Monday’s win was the first of the 2021/22 Vanarama National League South
season, and it was an assertive one at that. Six second half goals ensured it was eventually
to be a comfortable afternoon for The Hamlet after a draw against Chippenham Town and a
defeat to Dartford FC, both played at Champion Hill, kicked off the campaign.

That victory boosted Dulwich up the table as The Hamlet now lie in 11th position on four
points after three games. Eastbourne Boro currently occupy 15th after a 3-1 defeat to recent
Champion Hill conquers Dartford FC, with Danny Bloor’s men also on four points having
played a game more.

The Sports have been involved in some entertaining matchdays to open the season whilst
being on both ends of the results. A 5-0 defeat to Hampton & Richmond at Priory Lane on
the inaugural day of the campaign was then followed up with a more welcome 5-2 victory
over Essex boys, Billericay Town.

Dulwich Hamlet will look to try and repeat the outcome of the 2019 visit to Priory Lane as it
marks the club’s only victory when visiting Borough’s home. Danny Mills bagged a brace
that day along with an injury time strike from Reise Allassani.

Although, at home Dulwich have never fallen to defeat against The Sports and it was there
that their most recent match-up took place. The same scorers of the season prior, Mills and
Allassani, were on the scoresheet again that day in a 2-1 triumph. Mills heads into the
encounter in fine form after his double on Monday and will look to add to his current goal
tally of three in three.

Overall, Dulwich come out on top in the head-to-head record with their East Sussex
counterparts, with The Hamlet winning four of their seven battles whilst Eastbourne
claimed victory in the other three with their presently being no draws between the two
teams.
