RAFFLE WINNERS SHOOT-OUT ON TUESDAY
Saturday’s raffle raised over £200, and the lucky winners will take to the Champion Hill pitch on Tuesday night.
The raffle at Saturday’s game against Billericay raised £214 – all of which goes into the 12th man fund, a scheme that helps the club by increasing the playing budget available. The three raffle winners will take part in a penalty shoot-out at half-time of Tuesday night’s game against Tooting & Mitcham in the Ryman League Cup. The winner of the shoot-out will take home a new Hamlet replica shirt which has been signed by the first team squad, and kindly donated to the 12th Man by Hamlet’s management team. The three lucky winners who will be taking to the Champion Hill pitch are Ben Caldecourt, Jamie Wyatt, and Darren McCreery.
In total the 12th Man team raised £290 for the fund on Saturday, with the remainder coming from cash donations and sales of the book “The Only Way Is Up” which was written by Hamlet fans about last season’s title triumph. That takes the total raised by the scheme to a staggering £10,300, all in under a year! The first anniversary of the 12th Man is on 16th November, when a special newsletter will be available at the home game against Maidstone to celebrate the occasion.
