REDS RUN OUT AS LIVERPOOL CALL FOR CARR
Dulwich Hamlet striker Daniel Carr played an hour of Liverpool Under-21s’ 3-3 draw with West Ham at the club’s Kirkby academy.
18-year-old Daniel, who has bagged 23 goals in as many matches for the Hamlet first team, spent part of last week on trial with the Reds and impressed enough to be invited back yesterday (Monday), the chance to impress in front of watching first-team manager Brendan Rodgers.
Lining up in an XI that including the likes of England international Raheem Sterling as well as regular first team squad members Jonjo Shelvey, Andre Wisdom and Suso, Carr drew impressed comments from observers but was unable to add to his tally of goals this term.
