Thev Hamlet Reserve Team take a break from Capital League action for a cup tie this evening

Over the Thames & up to north London for a Presidents Challenge Cup tie, away to Wingate & Finchley.

We were fortunate enough to have a 'bye' in the opening round,whereas our opponents had what sounded like a cracker,sharing no less than six goals with Wealdstone, before triumphing 9-8 in the penalty shoot out.

This second round stage is the quarter finals, with the other ties being Cheshunt v. Chelmsford City & Brentwood Town. v. Bishop's Stortford.

The last one is yet to be finalised, as one first round tie is still outstanding. Hampton & Richmond Borough are due to play Staines Town on 7th November & the victors of this will then be at home to Hayes & Yeading United. Whoever triumphs from that trio will then be away to the winners of our encounter tonight, in the semi finals.
