After a summer break competitive football finally returns to Champion Hill for the first time in 102 days on Saturday as the Hamlet take on Maldon & Tiptree on the opening day of the 26/27 Isthmian League Season. 

The opening day of a season is always a special moment with a sense of optimism in the air and after a succesful pre season who knows what is possible for the Hamlet over the next 9 months.
