Seventh Heaven as Dulwich Hamlet Under 18s tame Millwall Lions
The Aspire Academy coached Dulwich Hamlet Under 18 ran riot against Millwall Lions on Monday afternoon winning 7-0.
Though the fixture was reversed and the game switched to Millwall Lions' Coldharbour Leisure Centre 3G pitch to avoid any disruption, any hopes of home advantage for the hosts soon disappeared as Dulwich Hamlet roared into a 4-0 lead at the break.
Further pain for the Lions followed as Dulwich Hamlet added three more after the interval. The final score 7-0 with both Ade Batula and Tarik Ibrahim scoring twice whilst Dereece Thompson, Cristian Bucin and Brian Testolin also found the back of the net.
The win is Dulwich Hamlet's eighth out of nine games in the Football Conference Youth Alliance and sees them move up to third spot. They remain four points shy of leaders Bromley Whites but have a whopping five games in hand of their title rivals.
The Aspire Academy coached youngsters are due to be back in action again tomorrow afternoon (Wednesday 20th January) when they travel to the Erith Sports Centre to take on Phoenix Sports. The game is scheduled for a 2pm kickoff.
